Got three quick questions.

The stock oil pressure sender on the M-18, I take it it only works the buzzer and will not drive an actual oil pressure gauge? I took the chance and hooked it to an oil pressure gauge and it pegged the gauge on the high side.

Is there a place that an oil temp gauge sender can be installed?

I have a slight rattling coming from the engine at idle, I am thinking water pump?

Thoughts?

I got a short hose with appropriate fittings on it and screwed one end into the hole in the block where the oil pressure sender goes. I put a T on the other end and screwed in the pressure sender on one side and a real pressure gage on the other side. I have to look in the engine compartment to see the actual pressure on the gage but both work fine.

Is there a place that an oil temp gage sender can be installed?

Don't know

Sorry, could be lots of things.

Figured as much on the rattle issue.

As for the oil pressure, I will do what you did. Sounds like a great idea. I already have the gauge wired in, so I will add the appropriate sender to the mix. That way I will have both the buzzer and a proper sender for the oil pressure gauge.

Thanks!
