Universal M-12 Heat Exchange Zinc Anode

It is indicating a 3/8" zinc.
I found my HE zincs at BoatZincs.com (978-841-9978) - The Online Superstore for Zinc Anodes
Need to know how long the zinc needs to be. You my have to cut down the one you buy... Easy with a Dremel. Then you can measure and order the right length. Not if the diameter of the HE is 2" the zinc will be shorter maybe like 1.5".
Mine was a 3" diameter HE and it took a 1.25 long zinc due to internal bracing..

If that is the original heat exchanger, it takes Universal P/N 301069. No cutting necessary as long as it is clear up in there. Not sure of the diameter but if you order that part you should be right. If you ever need a new HE, there are better ones with nickel in them and mine came with a much bigger anode so double benefit.

Last price I paid for that was $7.50 so not sure about how much labor you want to invest to try to get lower, even at a $15/hour wage(!!!!!)

I get them without the brass from my local chandlery.
$3.55 with the brass from your link is a good price. But not as good as your offer for for sending them for just the postage. Nice.
The zinc measures 1/8" Npt X 1/4" Diam X 2 Length
The original Universal Part # was 301069 and is no longer available. The replacement in Canada Metal Part #CME00.
