Universal Diesel 5411

I've been told that my O'Day 28 diesel engine needs an overhaul to correct low compression. Should I source a re-built engine (looking for sources) or should I pay the estimated $3000 to have the engine re-built.

Or, any other suggestions?

Does the 3000 include removal and installation? If not the labor will be a lot and you You might want to look at a Beta instead. They install them at Minnesott Beach.
