Universal 5424 oil leak

i just purchased an O'Day 34 and have found that the Universal 5424 has oil leaking down to the motor mount. I cannot see where it is originating from. The leak is significant enough that the oil will fill the bottom of the mount and flow into the bottom of the motor bed.

I found my leak. Apparently a chunk of the front cover is missing at the bottom of the front of the motor, just above the motor mount bracket below the drive pulley. I'll need to replace the front cover of the motor. Any thoughts on where to search for a replacement?

Go to the Westerbeke website and look up the parts list for your motor. They have exploded views and part number. Once you have the number see if they stock it and price. If not check marine diesel direct.com same exercise.
