Universal 5411 water in the oil

I had coolant water in the oil in my Universal 5411.
I just pulled the timing cover and found my replacement plate was in perfect condition so it has to be something else.
What might be the most likely places to look?

The first suspect is usually the raw water pump seals. Is your engine fresh water (w/HX) or raw water cooled?

I have an Atomic 4 Gas engine. If you run the starter for over 30 seconds without out the engine starting and the raw water through hull open, the engine will suck water into the crankcase. The water back flows from the water lift muffler.
But, diesel may be different.

Also the aqua lift muffler can have a rusted pipe below the water line in the muffler that will allow water to back flow through the exhaust.
