Underwater Lights

Has anyone installed underwater LEDs on their boat...?

Where did you place them...?

I don't have a swim platform or open transom, (tiller steering) so I was thinking more toward the sides in aft of hull...more where my boarding ladder is...?

How much wattage did you use... will 18 watt (6x3w) on each side be enough..?

I am very tempted by these underwater LEDs that don't require drilling through the hull.

Most power boats in our marina have them. A lot of them are installed just inside the stern as you are describing.

I think they look pretty darn cool on pristine Lake Superior. ..on a warmish night, while bar-b-queing.
