Makes ne feel a whole lot better about

my encounter with a shoal last November. Unfortunately I couldn't wait for the tide to turn so I had a close encounter of the expensive kind with Tow Boat US. I assume you waited for the tide to change and then bought new glasses to be sure you never misread a tide chart again. Fair Winds Hayden

Why not ?

I am planning to moor my 23.5 on Cape Cod Bay for the summer and the boat will sit on a sand bar at low tide. Does anyone have any suggestions...

Any damage?

Carl, was their any hull damage, maybe sanded a little from sliding on the sand in the waves? I would think with relatively soft sand you would not have much damage to the hull, or keel and rudder if they were in the raised position. However, I've already learned about what can happen with a little sanding on the thin parts. Brigg
