I have a clogged thru hull intake that cools my A.C.
Does anyone know a procedure to clear the clog other than diving under?

Thanks.

Close the thru hull.
Disconnect the hose from it.
Get a garden hose and connect it to the thru hull.
Use a wet rag to make a seal.
open through hull.

Let the pressure from the garden hose blow out the clog.

It can get a little wet bt you won't sink.

Good luck.

Thanks. I tried that once, without the rag as a seal. I will try again.
I might try reversing the situation by doing the same attempt with a
manual bilge pump....kind of a plunger effect.

I have a small stream, about the size of a straw coming through without much pressure.
Should'nt the hose be flowing a full hose sized stream? Therefore, the intake water flow would
be my problem, not my pump? Correct?

Thanks.

You might try using a portable air compressor to blow it out. Make a good seal with a wet rag around the air nozzle and that might clear it.
