Have a sailboat that is 32 feet long with an aft cabin and a center cockpit. Currently the factory position of the head is between the v berth and the main cabin, under the mast. A traditional place for a head on a 32 footer.
I just acquired this sailboat and I wish to keep everything pretty close to original, but the standard head is too small for my needs. I am 6'7" tall.
Lots of room in the aft cabin. Thinking of fixing that area up with a whirlpool bathtub, head and shower. Also keep the berths to use to dress and sleep. The area now used for feet down the middle of the boat would easily turn into a bathtub with the jets under the births. The portable head could be under a berth as well.
The tub could also double as a place to put a pee pad for our puppy maltese that turns 1 this month. Would make a great puppy play room.
