UK Vega for sale

Hi All

Just seen an amazing Vega for sale in the UK on Ebay. The amount of
equipment etc must be seen to be believed! If you are in the Uk and after a
Vega then this is fantastic. I have bid for it but I have my own Vega and
still have loads to do on her! I know the owner and teh amount of money
spent on her in the last two years.

Is the 'sprayhood' on Sula (ebay) one of Dianna's creations?

No. It was made by lambs sailmakers in liverpool
I replaced the sail cover first and then wanted a sprayhood. I was going to get one from diane but the fabric she uses is a lighter blue so they wouldn\'t match. So I went back to lambs. It took them a long time to make it but they did a good job of it when they did

They also did the spray dogers, lee cloths, a cover for the companion way and while I was there I got him to make me a case out of the stuff they use for the windows. It\'s the same size as half a chart and it ideal for when i\'m on my own I can drag the chart out into the cockpit without worrying about them getting a bath.
I think I paid £350 for the hood
£140 for the sail cover
£80 for the dogers
They also did me some winch covers

Yes the old frame had broke at one of the ends and was badly twisted with people using it as a grab handle.
The new one seams a lot stronger aswell
