Hi all,
Spent a few hours getting back to our mooring in some fairly thick fog. Made it with only one serious near collision. It's also surprising how well those big boats don't show up on radar. Oh well, tied up and tired oput.

I think Mainesail navigates through stuff like that in his sleep.

It's funny how quick conditions can change. Same thing happened to us last Saturday going through Woods Hole on the Vineyard Sound side. Good wind and visibility on the Buzzards Bay side. Couldn't see a thing but heard a lot . Had the radar on and was quite worried about ferry traffic. Cleared out in ten minutes.

After two days of it and predictions for more, we decided to get off the water. We met several other couples that were doing the same. The humidity was condensing on all the metal parts of the boat. There's always next week.

:naughty: Why would that happen? We couldn't see beyond Sabre Dancer so I think your boat was still there.

I went out for a sail in it, and there was a nice breeze, but it was sooooo wet....... Didn't spot or hear another boat out there.
