Tying up at the dock

Hunter 23 Parry Sound
Hello, I have a 23' hunter and the spot I have at the Marina is along a long dock. There are only 2 cleats and they are both inside of the bow and stern lines so when i tie up, both lines are tied off at the dock inside of the boat tie off points.
There doesn't appear to be any practical way to use spring lines which I did use last year when i had a different slip.

Is there a best practice to tying up when the cleats are on the inside of the lines?

I think if it is a wooden dock, I'd add a couple more cleats. If it is some other material, perhaps lagging in a couple of eye bolts? Unless you've already made a big stink about it, the marina people probably wouldn't notice.

You can also add a pair of springs by anchoring them to a mid ships cleat on the toe rail or even to a strategically located cabin top winch.
