Anyone know where to find a new extra long shaft 8 or 9.9/9.8 h.p. two stroke motor. I am in the market as my motor was stolen recently.

I bought a new outboard from Sailnet last year. I spent a lot of time on the internet and the phone trying to find the best deal. Sailnet was the hands down choice for an internet purchase. I got a new long-shaft 8 hp Nissan two stroke with electric start delivered to my door for about $1500. No sales tax or shipping charges. The only disadvantage to buying over the internet is you don't get the engine tuned up as part of the purchase.

Both sites only sell four strokes in the size I want. Thought someone might know of a place that had some leftovers?

Check West Marine

There maybe one sitting on the floor in one of their stores. They can pull it up on the computer and check. There is an extension available for Mercurys. I am not sure if it will make a 20 a 25 or a 15 a 20 or both but it maybe worth checking that angle as well. I had a link a while back for an outfit that sold year old motors from a fishinmg camp I'll see if I can find that one.
