Have any of you: 1) Found a light, strong, replacement for the heavy wooden flooring? My Avon is manageable, I can get it over the lifelines and onto the deck. But it would be so much lighter without that three section plywood flooring. 2) Used those simple davits that look like two large hooks and mount to the stern rails? They are curved to fit the size of the inflatable dingy's sides, probably about a 10" diameter. It would be nice to have the dink across the stern and off the deck. Thanks. Ed(schencked@bfusa.com)

Yes, Yes

Ed Most manufacturers of inflatables sell models with high pressure "air floors." We have an 8.5 foots Quicksilver wiht an air floor and inflated keel. IT WORKS GREAT. the raft is only 75 pounds. It is as stable as a wooden floor but so much lighter. We will never go back to wood. The stern arms for holding the inflatable used to be made of teak and now or plastic. I have seen them several times on other boats and they seem to work well. We thought of buying a set for our H37C, but we could not figure out how to mount them with the way the stern rail is configured. Good luck.
