We have a 1979 Oday 28 with Twin Stay/Dynafurl furling system. We are the 3rd owner of the boat and have never replaced the bearings in this system and would like to do so. It has been functioning well but over the last year has become harder to furl. Has anyone out there had any experience with this system? We have the number 8 model. We have removed the furling drum from the base of the furler, a few set screws and are attemping to remove the terminal cover. Any knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link. I did speak with Rob @ American Rigging Supply and he was very knowledgable of these systems and very nice to speak with. The parts still need to come from rigrite...but their technical support is poor.
