I recently purchased a 1976 22' ODAY on eBay. I was told it has twin keels. I can't find any info anywhere to research this. Anyone have any ideas or comments?

English boat perhaps
It may be an English made boat called a Weatherly. There are quite a few in the U.S. A very substantial boat.

Westerly
The are called "Westerly", not "Weatherly". Many Westerlys were built with bilge keels so that they could dry out.

Most definately NOT an Oday
The seller was mistaken, go figure. It is definately not an Oday, and as the previous poster have said, more than likely it is a Westerly. A good boat in it's own rites. The twin keels are called bilge keels, so that the boat will sit upright during the extreme tides in the UK and Europe. If this is what you got, the boat is a keeper. Just not an Oday.
