Where did you add your TV antenna on your 356/36 or your Hunter and what type antenna did you buy.
When I take my wife out sailing and anchor over night some nice here in SW Florida she likes to watch DVD's on our TV and after talking to some other boaters they claim get TV reception and weather reports and news in the charlotte harbor area so I am thinking of adding a antenna.
What antenna and mount did you use up your mast, also any make shift antenna setup until I go up the mast.

I just put an extended range antenna on my H42 that I bought from Best Buy - it was about $50 and attaches to TV via coax cable. It is an indoor antenna and I just have it sitting on a cabinet near the flatscreen. I'm in SE Florida and get about 20 channels and since many are digital and HD the picture is excellent - I'm holding off on a mast antennae in hopes that the KVH sat dishes come down in price and may get one of them in the future

Thank's

I have heard that some boaters have used rabbit ears and I may do the same thing until I install one up the mast,I have cable in my maintance cost in my Community so satalite is not on my list,if we did not have cable I would go for satalite for my boat and my RV.

Re: Thank's

Its not rabbit ears which I hate - it looks like a flat black picture frame almost, and I just set it on a shelf near the tv attached via an R6 cable - I have satellite at the dock but use the antenna for while underway or anchored - still gets about 20 channels even while moving and all for bout $50 - quick switch of cable to allow antenna rather than satellite - since digital signals now the picture is fantastic on our HD flatscreen
