Group : With Flat Screen TV being installed as an option in boats these days, and keeping in mind some of us like "comforts" aboard, I was curious as to what those of you who are so inclined are doing about television aboard your boat. Aboard Winpipe, I have just completed the installation of an aft cabin fold-down flat screen TV, of the type that are now being put into mini-vans. What to do in the aft-cabin was an easy decision...the salon is another matter... I've long thought about hanging a Flat Screen TV on the salon bulkhead wall, just to stbd of the v-berth door, however, with technology developing as fast as it is, I'm hesitant to be drilling through the wall unless I'm totally sure about the decision. Are there any "non-drilling" alternatives out there ? My thanks in advance to those who respond. Cheers, Paul Ouellette, www.winpipe.ca

tv or not tv

Right now I have a 13 in. VCR/tv combo strapped down on the flat space in front of the DC panel, but I'm considering a 17in. flat panel. I'm trying to engineer a clamp arrangement to the mast's compression post to avoid drilling any holes. Anyone having done anything like that I'd like to hear all about it, with pics.
