I have an older H30 with the old style swaged turnbuckle which is .7" at its widest point.I just bought a #7 CDI furler and found that the hole in the extrusion is only .5".I have thought about grinding down to size or cutting the turnbuckle at its narrowest point and threading it so that I can attach a newer / narrower turnbuckle to it.My last resort would be to take down the forestay and have a rigger make me a new one. - The problem is finding a rigger who has the time to do it. Any help, as always is appreciated. These forums and the people who contribute are great.
