Tuning the standing rigging for a Coloumbia 34

I have a question and any and all answers would be of help. I was told to go to this site by a friend of mine about how to tune the standing rigging on my boat. I didn't see what I was looking for and I was wondering if anyone could be of help by pointing me in the right direction. Any useful tips or things to keep in mind would be helpful. A web site that offers more specific info would also be greatly appreciated. I have a Columbia 34 if that helps any. Thank you for your time in reading this.

the target basic tension for almost all sloops is 12-15% tension in all shrouds.
