We recently purchased a 1996 Hunter 280 and would like to know of a web site where we can study up on tuning the rigging on the boat

Better idea

Have a competent yard do it. I put it off for years, thinking it was a good project. Boy, was I wrong. The yard will get it right, and you'll see a big improvement. I think I paid for 2 hours' work.

Rig tuning

The owners manual has a couple of pages of instructions on tuning the rig. If you don't have access to those, let me know and I can email you a copy.

Appreciate the information. We do not have a Hunter service center near us so I will try the service manuel.
