Don Guillette

Starting this Friday I'll be off the air for a couple of weeks. Our new home is finally completed and we will be moving in next week. I had to promise my wife that I'd give my full attention to unpacking ect and not be distracted by sail trim!!

Mt Lemon

Don, Tucson is a great place, I lived there awhile myself. Friends and I use to bike Sabino Canyon, climb bolt-protected routes on Mt. Lemon, and drive down south to dive in the Sea of Cortez at SAn Carlos. "The Keys" is a great restaurant and club thereabouts too.

Mt Lemmon

Cap'n Ron: We are looking forward to doing the things you did shortly after we get there. There is a very active sailing club there - Tucson Sailing Club - that I intend to look up also. They sail a lot on the Sea Of Cortez. I've never sailed there so it will be a new experience. We are moving to SaddleBrooke, which is a adult community about 25 miles north of Tucson (near Oro Valley and the BioSphear). This move is a big change for us after living for over 30 years in So Ca. My wife misses SO Ca but not that much. I don't miss it at all.

San Carlos

Hi Don, Here I'm thinking you had you winter house there, summer in the Swiss alps... It do get hot this time of year, but a short drive up Mt. Lemmon and it cools right down up in the pines... Nice marina in San Carlos, I brought a 50ft 'Cruisers' in there last year, we burned 45 gallons per hour from S.F. @ 18 to 20 kts.Nice boat, TV cameras throuhout...;-) The owner has a house there in San Carlos on the hill, Luc owns "The Keys" in Tucson. Guymas is oldlstyle Mexico, nearby for a sail, good anchoring and the best shrimp this coast has. I have to take off again ugh, have a great tucson time...

Cap'n Ron: I looked up The Keys in the phone book and can't find a listing. Where is it located?
