I am trying to identify a boat that i came across recently it is an old wooden one that is sitting in a cradle at the warehouse i just took over it appears to be very old and looks similar to a 5.5 or 22 square but it has a cabin. i am looking for anyone that would be able to help me identify its make or origins. I will take a pic tomorrow and post, any help would be appreciated. thank you

Andrew, When You say 5.5 I am assuming a Columbia 5.5 The 5.5 was produced with a cabin and called the Sabre. http://www.columbia-yachts.com/heroic3.jpg http://www.columbia-yachts.com/c-55sabr.html Could your mystery boat be?? Fair winds, Dave

or a 6 meter. Lots of boats from the CCA and era before had similar lines and there were many small yards constructing them, some from the same plans. Do you have a pix? Rick D.
