There are some transporters that have hydraulic trailers with integrated cranes, this enables the transporter to take the rigging down, float the boat onto the trailer, transport it, and refloat it and re rig it at the end destination. Using a transporter such as this will be less expensive compared to using boat yards on both ends of the journey and a trucking firm also. Obviously, there has to be local facilities that will enable the trucker to back his trailer into deep enough water to load and unload the boat. Not sure what the size restrictions would be to handle a boat in this manner.
When I had my 35' Beneteau moved from Charleston to New Orleans, five years ago, the cost was about $5K. This included hauling, prepping, unloading /splashing and re-rigging by two separate yards as well as the trucking cost.
