I am planning a trip to Bimini for the first week of June 2006. I have never been and would really like to have the company of other boats. According to research I have done, it is safer and more fun to go with others. It would be great to go with someone that has been before. It would be great to just have other boats to make the crossing with. Anyone interested? It would be a great experience. Think about it and post your thoughts.

Hi Mrbill, I wanted to head to Bimini first then to explore other areas where possible. I saw the Conch Cruisers plan to go in May. I scheduled off in June. I would really like to take the trip with your group. I just need to see if I can change my vacation. How many boats do you have scheduled now? What do I need to do to join your cruise?

follow the link and post on that board. I'm probably not going on that trip with my boat. Frankly, I dont trust my outboard to motor across, and I'd need a LOT of fuel. the only way I'd go is if I can sail across, and wait for weather... read some of the trip logs on the conch cruiser site... make sure you are ready. a lot breaks on those offshore trips.

I'd be interested. Have a few things to finish up on LIKI TIKI, but think I can have her ready, Heck even if she's not ready I'll go. What dates are you planning this for? Need to get her to Fla. from Michigan. Have a crew member that wants to go too. She's from Texas. Remember, we will need pass ports to get back into the USA now.
