Sounds like it was a wonderful sailing trip Joe. Nice fish! Great pics as well. You look nice and relaxed at the helm there. Life is treating you well.

It was great Jim. When I was sailing back up the river this guy yelled to me from his down-easter in an admonishing gesture,-- "You're having too much fun!" and I laughed my butt off and said,-- " Yuh, I know!"
This retirement business is tough stuff but somebody's got to do it.
My wife baked one of the Striper fillets and she coated the other fillet with egg, flour, spices, and Panko bread crumbs and fried it. Man was that ever good!
The next time I go out there again I'm bringing the cole slaw, and French fries and I'm going to fry it up on the boat just like that. Penny loves fish too, so we're going to chow down on the next trip.
It's funny because we always anchor on the North side of those islands and I wake up sometimes at 1:00 and 2:00 AM and go out in the cockpit with my PJs and slippers on and cast a popper and never even get a strike. Heck, all the fish are on the South side of the island hanging around the rocks searching for food. Anyone with the brains that God gave a chipmunk should know that. So, where the heck have I been all these years?

Doh!
