I currently own a Trinka 8 and it's best quality is that it is very astetically pleasing. It is a bit too unstable for most tender use in my opinion. I have sailed and rowed a Trinka 12 that belonged to a friend. It is a bit too large & heavy to be a tender on a boat without a powered davit. I grew up sailing small boats and the Trinka 12 was easy to sail single handed or with 1 other person on board. It was fun to sail and a drier ride than you might expect in a 12' boat. I could rig the boat to sail floating in the water, but it took some balance as I recall. The boat rowed ok, but was pretty heavy so it was a workout. Even the Trinka 12 I would not recommend to replace a RIB as a primary tender. The rounded hull shape requires you to step towards the middle as you get into the boat to avoid a capsise.

I'm only 5ft 2 tall, weighs about 127lb. Will likely to sail her solo most of the time
in the intracoastal. Thanks for tip about the capsize. Any other advice will be much
appreciated.
