Trinidad...Boatyard advice needed

I did a quick search and didn't find any threads on the topic.

I'm considering moving my boat from Puerto Rico to Trinidad for part of the hurricane season. One of the big reasons is that I'd like to get my deck stripped and resurfaced and boatyard time (on the hard) in Puerto Rico is amazingly expensive. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me anything about recent prices for work. I'd want the deck stripped, sanded, and resurfaced. It will probably need a resin finish and then non skid gel coat or something like that. The present surface is an unusual layer of some kind of (glass?) fabric that is glued on the fiberglass resin deck and then surfaced. I'll have to remove a small piece and have a look before deciding exactly what to do. While out of the water, I'd like to have the bottom cleaned and repainted. I will also replace all of my through hulls (7 of them) but I'd like to do that work myself, following MaineSail's advice on doing it.

So basically, I'm looking for advice on best boatyards, quality and price of resin and painting work, bottom cleaning and painting. And if anyone has suggestions for places to stay for a couple of weeks while I do some of the work and oversee some of it.

Thanks
Bill

I've not been to Trinidad, but I follow a sailing blog called "Windtraveler". They used Peake Yacht Services in Trinidad and reported very good things about the yard. Windtraveler.net and Peakeyachts.com are both on the web. If you don't get other first hand recommendations here you could email Windtraveler or Peake.
