Neil, because

of the discussion on this board, I went with poli-glow instead of Island Girl. the poli-glow is suppose to last 1yr, this time next year I'll let you know how it does under the FLA sun. it looks good now and although I did do the 6 coats it was fairly easy.

I have 4 years on Poli-Glow

I applied Poli-Glow before the 1999 sailing season. It needs a recoat, but the shine is still visible. I would think you will get at least 2-3 years before any re-coat. By the way, seagulls won't even crap on Island Girl, that's how bad it is. Regards, Ted
