Has anyone had any experience with this product?

Not with that... Living in Mexico and had my deck redone. First coat was Alumagrip (sp) as were all the remaining coats. "sand" went on after the second coat and was followed by at least three more coats of Alumagrip (sp). If you EVER think the boat will be in the tropics, use a very light color! My original decks were the factory non-skid (it was very slippery) in light grey. Could not walk on them w/o shoes in warm weather. After the change there is now genuine, actual, non-skid. In addition, I can walk bare foot even in Mexican summer!!!
