I recently purchased a fabulous 1985, Hunter 31. It's out of the water now, so it is time to focus on what I need/want to do to it in preparation for next Spring. The end caps (they are U-shaped and about 1-1/2" high with one screw to hold them in place)are either missing or badly cracked. Does anyone have a recommendation as to where I might go to purchase (catalog or online)?

Option B?

David, they sound quite similar to the ones on my 30'. I don't know anything about exact replacements, but if you're unable to locate any, I wonder if you'd considered making some out of a piece of hardwood--could be more attractive and just as functional in the long run. Good luck getting her ready for the spring launch.

OEM was Schaefer?

David: I think that the original stuff was Schaefer Marine. If you really have the OEM stuff, I would suggest that you spend some money on replacing it. They tend to not work very well. We replaced ours with a Harken unit (excellent unit) and they custom drilled the track so the holes matched the OEM unit.
