Continous Line Traveller
Martin, It appears you have a continous line traveller that has two eyesplice's on either end-stop. These should be attached to the tang with a bolt...probably a hex head. To remove the line simply loosen the bolt holding the tang to the car. Be careful because that bolt also holds either a becket, or a sheave in place. Just keep the working surface relatively flat, and push the bolt back through when you remove the tang. FYI--If it is an Ocean track, you might want to use a tracer line when pulling the control line out of the car. This just makes it easier to re-thread the new line.
