I have an Oday 322 and wrestle with my traveler vevry time I sai or race her. I'd like to retrofit the track with a new car with nice wheels but i can't figure out who made the trach or ar. Any Ideas would be appreciated

I have an 1987 O'Day 322 with a schaefer traveler system. You can still order parts such as the end caps for it. Perhaps you can keep the track and replace the track car and add control blocks. Their number for their catalog is 508-995-9511. Best of luck and please let us know how it goes! Dave

traveler problems
I had traveler problems on my O 34. Contacted Garhauer Marine and said send them old curved track and they would make a new one for me. We are in that process right now & expect the new traveler sometime in Jan. The cuurent traveler is a Schaefer and no parts are available.

Jon: I'm pretty sure that the traveler on my 322 is made up of Harken components. I expect to be at the boatyard this coming weekend, to cover the boat for the winter. Before I tie down the cover, though, I'd be willing to take some digital pics of the traveler rig and send them along, if they'd be of any interest or help. Also, FWIW, on my old 272LE, the traveler components were Garhauer, and I'd recommend their products as well. Pete s/v "Crossroads" (O-322) Little Silver, NJ
