I saw a yutube video of a hunter 33 where the traveler had been moved on top of the cabin.
Anyone here has done this?

Many Cherubini owners have installed a traveler on the coach roof for mid-boom sheeting. And Hunter did also in later years. Not sure about the H33 but after 1981 all the H37Cs came that way from the factory. Mine is still on the bridgedeck and I plan to keep it there. Garhauer seems to be the favorite brand for adding one up there.

I'm going to add one on my 27. It's already mid boom sheeted, but without a traveler.

Of course. Garhauer, controls lead to wheel. Has been working just dandy for about 10 years.

Picture below. Doesn't everyone hang the dinghy from the mast?

That was all part of the plan. The WB 8 was purchased because it more or less would fit on the foredeck. It does travel there if we are in rougher stuff. At anchor when it is on the deck the spare jib halyard clips to the bow eye, the transom is near the mast and it is hauled up at an angle. Not bad.

The dinghy hangs from the mast because people in the town operated basin get cranky about second boats in the slip (13 year waiting list and all) and it tends to discourage thieves and joy-riders
