I have a 1986 O'day 40 and need a new traveler car. Its a very large track and I have no Idea who manufactures it. The Car that is on there now has a Gull embossed/casted into it. Does anyone know what brand of traveler this might be? I've sent an email to D&R marine. I would hate to replace the whole traveler. Thanks Chris

More than likely 1 1/4" track

I'm assuming that your talking about genoa car. most big boats of american manuf. are 1 1/4" wide track. Any car of the proper width and to conform to the thickness of the "T" portion will work. Garhaurer makes some very good products and a lot more reasonable in cost than say the harken people. I would replace both sides if one is bad,and go with the twin lead blocks, as they have a lot fewer problems with the sheets running cleanly thru them.
