Does anyone have a rough idea as to how long it would take to sail or motor sail from Georgetown, MD to St. Michaels? I'm estimating 8-10 hrs but am curious to those that have actually made trip. Thanks! Paul OC351

If you pass east of Kent Island and down the East Bay it is roughly 55nm. Going down round Kent Island it is 65nm. If you maintain a speed of 5kts it will take 10 to 13hrs. One very long day or two very pleasant days. Jim S/V Java

It took us 7.5 -8 hrs from Worton Creek, so I would say you would have to add 2.5 hrs to that time. That assumes going thur Kent Narrows.
