This is kinda a strange question...I was sailing the other day and the winds were pretty light...I have heard that you don't want to sail water ballasted boats with the tank partially full due to damage to the tank, but was wondering if anyone has tried rigging a trapeze and to help sail it w/o any water ballast. I don't think you would want > 10 mph winds, and I'm sure some would be concerned with safety issues. But, it seems like if you were lake sailing/esp.racing, in light winds it could give an advantage as long as you kept an eye way upwind for gusts. Anybody tried it? Richard
