Many moons ago I had a 23 footer moved from Hartwell to Thurmond by a company called The Boat Exchange out of Columbia. They had a good size rig that could handle your boat. Looks like they are still in business:

1652 Lake Murray Boulevard
Columbia, SC 29212-8623

The whole thing went very well with them.

Thatguy,

I trailer my Lancer 25 on a regular basis. My boat is only 4000 lbs loaded where yours is over 7000 lbs. But, the right F350 and a trailer, and you can haul that all day long. Easier said than done, but if you could rent or borrow a trailer and your buddy had a pickup (and you're in the south!) you can save a wad of cash. There is still the sling and stepping fees, though.

Good luck with the move.
