The yacht Celerity, a Santa Cruz 37, is aparrently winning TransPac 2015 as of the latest post. She's only 600 n.mi. from the finish following a start on July 13! Nearly 100 n.mi. ahead of the next closest, and averaging 8.8 kt VMG. I doubt the "Big Boats" will catch her if the wind holds and nothing breaks.
