I have A Hunter 25 and I looking for a ladder that I can mount on the transom of my boat. My Problem is the width of the ladder because I have a outboard motor mount there also. I would like to know if anyone knows of a manufacture that makes narrow width ladders. I have already search most catalogs but can"t seem to find a suitable size. Thanks in advance Bill Coughlin Wind Dancer

Make it a long one.

Make sure your ladder will extend down into the waterenough that you can easily get on to it. The present ladder I have only goes 3" into the water, and is only usefull to get into a dingy.

I was going to suggest that you search the catalogues but whatever you get, make sure you have metal backing plates to distribut the load behing the transom and make sure you liberally caulk any through holes. A sailmaker friend of mine, Skip Moorehouse might be able to steer you as he owned the very first Hunter which was a 25. Call Hunter and ask for Gregg Emerson who can give you Skip's phone number. If you do call, caall him Skippy Peanut Butter. Craxy Dave Whoops, I mispelled Crazy
