Our O'Day 25 came with a transom ladder, but it is too short, so very difficult/impossible to get out of the water. I am thinking maybe buying a Garelick two step transom ladder, taking it apart and then attaching the steps to ours as an extension. Pictures below of a Garelick ladder and a Detmar platform ladder extension, which is what gave me the idea. A photo of our boat attached. Our boat is in storage, but the Garelick is the style of ladder already on it. Any other suggestions?
