One of the rubber boots came off the transom ladder. It's the rubber boot cover that protects the stern from the ladder when it is in the down position. hmm, kind of hard to explain but i hope you understand what I mean, anyway, any ideas on where to get a replacement? I've checked the catalogs but no luck. thanks, Jack

Get extra. Mine need replacement every year. I had 3" SS disks cut and glued them on the boat with 5200, now it doesn't matter if I have the rubber caps or not.

I for a fact West Marine has them, I just bought 2 last week. You can also get them at any Home Depot also but they won't last as long.

I know your frustration, amigo, I spent a year looking for these on my last boat until I went into a hardware store and discovered that generic chair tip replacements work for this. Whether you get the West Marine version or the hardware store version don't expect them to last more than 3 seasons as constant sun exposure cooks them...

crutch feet!
a number of yrs ago one of mine came off and disintergrated. did't spot it until it scrached the hull. tryed the west marine thing and was replacing them constantly. then low and behold i found that the feet for crutches work great and last. expensive though. about 3bucks a pair. most any drug store's have them. a set usually lasts me about 5yrs.you just need the correct dia.they come in several dia's. i found that they are much better than chair whaca dinnigys. they have a lot bigger footprint and have a metal insert that keeps it from cutting thru the material. Que Pasa?
