I have been experiencing difficulty in getting my boat to change gears from forward to reverse even if I reduce the revs, also the shifting angle of the command lever between forward & reverse, had increased. Once the gear has been selected I can motor all day, but have the feeling that the transmission skid while under power. Bottom painted last month, re-pitched the prop, new S/S, new bearing and PSS installed, changed the fluid, adjusted the command cable and aligned the motor. Catalina 30 1982 Universal 5411. HURTH transmission. Has anybody experienced this issue?.. Any suggestions??
