I have a Hunter 27 1980 with a Renault engine. The transmission is slipping. I have adjusted it to gain more power in the forward position. Now reverse does not work and the gear still slips in forward. I have contacted the only dealer (in England) of parts and a rebuilt transmission is about $1900. I am looking for a local (Midwest/US) solution. I can remove it and send it somewhere. Please advise.
