The forward/neatral/reverse lever on my steering column went totally loose during a shift from forward to neutral. None of my manuals show how this is connected. It is an Edson wheel assembly on a 1987 ODay 272LE Any help? Thanks.

just fixed my this weekend
Robert take a look at the Photo forum for changing cable to outboard. Also a post under Small boats for Hunters. Mine had broken and I just fixed it this last weekend. It is not fun, but it is doable. Jim S/V Java
