Look under the covers under the matteresses back there and you can see where the ballast tank ends. You can read about all sorts of methods to check the spot from baggies filled with water to peanut butter. I used vaseline on mine. After you find the spot glue it down with epoxy. Mine has been there for two years stuck with the vaseline and I may get to glueing it down soon, or not.

I have mine in the same location. It worked the first time I stuck it down (used KY jelly). It's been mounted in KY for 4 trips, I think I'll try not to fix something that aint broke.

correct location

I was the only dealer involved with the deveopment of this boat so I know it very well. Placement of the puck or transducer under the rear berth aft of the tank is the best place. Attachement is one of several choices. Glue it or use a puck in a mineral bath. Make sure you clean the surface well and lightly sand any gell coat off for good adhension and to make sure there are no voids as any air pockets will throw it off. The best is of course the thru hull. I do not care for the style screwed in at the back of the boat.
