Hi all,
Had to cut cable and leave in hull mount to my Garmin in hull transducer, model GT15M-IH when disposing of my boat.
I cannot find any replacement mounts, new or used, anywhere. Maybe someone has one they have no use for?

Many thanks and Happy Sailing

Can even do it with something simple like a big glob of toilet bowl ring wax. The transducer for my Lowrance fishfinder/GPS is mounted that way and in the 4 years it's been there I had to reset it once after I knocked it loose moving some stuff around.

Just epoxy the transducer inside the hull. As long as there's no coring, works just fine-and no hole in boat
The problem with this is the OP cut the cable. Some of the older transducers are very sensitive the electrical properties of the cable and it can render the depth sounder inoperable. I've been down that sad road. But I was able to justify buying a new depth sounder.

The transducers are still available through Garmin and probably elsewhere. https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/530269

Thank you all gentlemen. Once I get my new boat and install the transducer inside of the hull with one or both methods and find out that the cut wire can't be properly shielded.....I will then do what I wanted to avoid. To go out and buy a replacement.transducer. Happy Sailing
