I purchased a 2003 hunter 260.I have been looking for a trailer and learned much.A company in Ohio can build me one in 4-5 weeks.Still looking.Anyone out there trailer theirs or have any helpful info?

I'm in the final stages of a 260 trailer project myself. Would be happy to compare notes. Ck the other "18-26' smaller boats" forum, I'll look for you there. you're going to break my heart if your trailer guy will do it similar to the stock H260 tandem magic-tilt with an extension for under $5-6 thousand incl tax/delv. Have you checked with Magic-Tilt? Although expensive, their trailer is made for your boat. There is quite a bit of discussion on this subject in the archives.
