I have a 9.9 and just brought the boat home to prep it for launching. It is a 1998 H260; I am the third owner. You can see by the photos that the stainless steel motor brackets are in tough shape, having warped from either being trailered or from the motor's torque. You can also see a vertical hairline crack on the starboard side of the motor near the top of the bracket. I'm reglassing that from inside.
