Hi John, I used to live in Louisville and had to move to the Pacific Northwest to find really great sailing!
. In my opinion the best sailing in KY by far is on Kentucky Lake. It's a pretty long haul from Lexington however. The sailing on the Ohio River in Louisville is ok. Try the boat launch ramp in Cox Park. There is undoubtedly some Ohio River sailing done in the Cincinnati area but I'm not familiar with the launch ramps there. Happy sailing!
